How To Ignore Opponent’s Distractions When Serving

I highly appreciated reading your ebooks. Great work!

I have a question for you: Untill recently I hit a lot of double faults every match.

Since I’ve started serving with courage this has improved a lot.

However, I find that some players tend to jump up and down or make sudden movements when I look up during the serve to distract me and this works very well on me.

As a result I start double faulting again. I don’t know what to do in this situation because I can’t not notice it.

Do you have any tips?

Hi,

You’ll need to learn how not to notice it or ignore it.

Perhaps this thinking will help you: why are they jumping and making movements?

Because they want to distract you, right? Well, why do they want to distract you?

Because they want you to double fault. Why do they want you to make a double fault?

Because they are AFRAID of your serve!

They don’t want to return it because they’ll be in trouble since your serve is so good.

So instead of seeing this distraction as something against you, see it as a confirmation of how good your serve is.

They are afraid of it and try to do anything to make you miss.

Now whenever you notice their distracting movements, know that your serve is very good and focus on it.

Their jumps and movements are actually calming you down and CONFIRMING that your serve is good.

Just smile (inside) and unleash your rocket serve without doubt! ;)
